No hookups in Michigan State Parks, National parks, State and National Forests here are $17 per day or less. Elecric hookups (30A) here in the same add approx $5 in most but the very popular always booked full Great Lakes Shoreline SP CG's max out at $33/day for FHU with 50A electric. Max of $30 with 30A. These are the Grand Haven, Holland, Ludington, Hoffmaster, etc parks with pristene huge golden sugar sand beaches on Lake Michigan right out your RV door.
Sleeping Bear Lakeshore National Park gorgeous CG (Platte River CG) Drive up no HU daily fee is only $16/day and $19/day with a reservation. Seniors and disabled is discounted 50% thua $8 to $9.50. Add the $5 for having electric HU. We go there every year for a week or so in the fall and never paid more than $13.50/day. Tahquamenon Falls SP in the U.P. at the lower falls is $21/day with ultra modern new kept very clean bathouses with doored private shouers and 30A electric and a lvery large level sites in the excellent beautiful CG. Stayed there every year the last 35+ years mainly in the fall during colored leaves time. 2 other SP CG's in the 50,000 sq mi Tahquamenon Falls SP and at the same price.
Very few private FHU CG's loaded with amenities and yes, even a good pool in Michigan even charge close to $40/day. So unlike the CG charges on the east and west coast. Most of Florida CG's are a lot cheaper than on the east and west coast. We've been using them every year and know. Our 51st year of extensive RV'ing all over the USA and Canada and yes, to Alaska 4 times.
Many of the CG rates posted on this thread are totally insane and will drive people not to stay there at or drastically limit their stays or just RV to other areas. Many CG's are pricing themselves out of business or selling and we see it happening more and more every year now. We don't have that problem around here as they are building many more very nice CG's presently.
