fla-gypsy,
True, but it's the consumer who holds the key to "Free market pricing". Simply by avoiding/boycotting overpriced or high priced venues/items because without having enough customers buying over time causes the annual incoming dollars to force the prices down, or closing the operation, or discontinuing producing the loser, or the selling thereof the business or operation. The new owners already have seen the books and knows what they must do to be competitive as history repeats itself. WE the consumer can control pricing so much more than we realize! Why don't we do it then?
I'm a past 39 year business owner and know so well how the real "free market" works! Be competitive or be GONE! Yes, it works nationally, regions, states, counties, cities, retail, wholesale, and about everything else.
