Yes, only a 3.2 out of 5 rating. On Jardine Rd in the little town of Gardiner, MT over looking the Yellowstone River below and the north hill and Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone Nat'l Park on US-89. Have 35MM slides to prove it but haven't looked at them for years now. Gardiner was well remembered as it had and probably still does have a very nice western store just across the Yellowstone River Bridge on the Montana side. My wife is a died in the wool horse nut. I won't go into detail but her family had lots of show horses (American Saddlebred) for years. We had 2 riding horses here ourselves for many years quite a while ago.
We'd had stayed at that park in Gardiner back in the 1990s with our MH and in the early 2000s with our 5th wheel and didn't think it was so great either then. Very barren land around the CG and hills then and we remember dirt/gravel roads in the CG and several mud puddles as it had just rained a couple hours before we got there. The day before we were at Coulter Bay Village CG the one time and a CG at Jackson the other time.
I don't know if westernrvparkowner owned it then and if he did, I may have met him but I'll never know nor do I need to. Doesn't really matter. I won't give the price we paid for the sites as it was long ago but they are in our trip log book.
