My worst experience at an RV park was my own fault. I left my awning out while we were gone and a storm blew up and came off of Lake Erie. Enough damage was done for insurance to total out the rig. So with that said if I pull into a RV park that looks like what the OP described I would simply make a U turn out of there and find somewhere else even if it's a Walmart
