A couple RV parks east of Bakersfield on Hwy 58. Orange Grove RV park (full hookup) is maybe 10 minutes east-exit Edison. Mountain Valley RV park (water electric sites w/ dump station) in Tehachapi is about 40 miles east on Hwy 58. Nice summer nights at 4000 ft. elevation. Adjacent to small airport. I found both to be fine.
