Year Round Campgrounds

We're going south for the first time this coming winter. Hundreds to inches of snow on Cape Cod last winter was the last straw. For various reasons, we're not leaving until November, which leads to the issue. Most CGs in the northeast close on the last weekend of October or earlier. Where does everyone stop on the way to warmer weather? I'm looking at south Jersey/Maryland/Delaware.

    That's what we do.

  • usually FlyingJ and or Walmart until we hit Southern states. We fill with water at the first FlyingJ we see. If you are worried about doing that FlyingJ bathrooms are usually OK to use for one night until you are south of DC
  • Timberlane Campground, a half-mile off i295 in Clarksboro, NJ, is open year round. Capital KOA in Millersville, MD about 8 miles from I-695 is open until Nov 23rd. From there south, you should have no problem finding open campgrounds.
  • To find campgrounds open all year
