- profdant139Explorer IIOkie, as far as we could tell, there was not another person within five miles of us! The access road was long and rough, which would discourage most folks -- and there was no fishing anywhere nearby. We intentionally sought out a very remote and isolated place -- we live in southern California, which is a crowded and noisy place, so silence and privacy are priceless. Just the wind in the trees, rather than the distant roar of the freeways.

Thanks, Okie! Here is another one from a different night on the same trip -- I had accidentally deleted it from my camera, but my son was able to recover it for me. The constellation Cassiopeaia is visible in the top center of the shot:
What a perfect shot!!! The sky is gorgeous! And looks like a wonderful campsite. Was it crowded around y'all? - profdant139Explorer IIThanks, Okie! - Aurabbit79erExplorerThis is what RVing is all about.
- ReneeGExplorerThanks for the feedback and additional pics,Steveh27.
- steveh27ExplorerI doubt if cell service reaches out there. I didn't try. I understand this isolated place gets a few more campers during the warmer months, but always has room. The gravel road is a washboard in some places.
- bigred1cavExplorerWOW! Does it have cell phone service? Verizon, medical reasons preclude our being so remote we can not reach out.

Renee,
Those are shades for the picnic tables. There are vault toilets as well. I had my Dish Tailgator out & got great sat TV.
