Number of unread posts never changes on the community feed

Just an FYI. I've noticed that the number of unread posts never seems to update or change on the community feed. I typically right click on a post and open in a new tab. But it doesn't seem to matter...

If it helps at all I find that the post "Android 8" tablet for navigation" is especially troublesome. Not sure why but it is definitely one that acts up.
