2000 Pace Vision 36B TV replacement

I have done MANY searches on lots of forums and still haven't come up with any ideas for replacing the original TV with a LCD/LED model. The 36B has the mid dash mount ( with a mechanism that allows for raising the viewing position) and doesn't seem to allow for a wider TV. Considered mounting TV overhead but not a lot of width there either.

    We have 98 PA which I believe has the same opening as yours which unfortunately is not huge. We camp for several weeks without hookups in the summer so I often remove the CRT and simply put a 28" LCD in it's place. It's not perfect and the TV does stick out past the edges but it does the job and takes a lot less battery power. To hold it down, I actually use the same clamps (front wood one and rear metal one) that hold the CRT but I believe I had to redrill the rear one to fit around the base of my LCD.
