Attaching String Lights to a WeatherPro Awning

Thanks, the binder and badge clips are a good idea. I've used badge clips to make a hat leash when sailing. I have just closed my office and have 100's of binder clips.

I'm reluctant to attach to the fringe of the awning, in case the wind comes up and the awning automatically retracts.
