B A L levelers

I banged up 2 of my levelers on the trailer over time. Figured it's about time to replace the. Does anybody have a suggestion on a web site to get them from. As always thanks for your help!!!
  • No, the stabilizers should not be used to level a trailer. That can cause frame twisting and damage. About the only way to level a travel trailer is to raise the tires in some manner for left/right leveling (or dig a hole for the tires to roll into!).

Edit: Some of the newer travel trailers now come with electric leveling jacks. I assume the frames have been designed with this in mind.

  • I was talking about the levelers posted earlier in this thread. I have stabilizers on each corner. I was wondering if I could use these to level my travel trailer instead of using wood or plastic blocks to make a ramp to level it. I wasn't sure if these could be used with a TT.

The "levelers" being discussed are really only "stabilizers" and are not used for leveling the trailer. They are the crank down jacks located at the front and rear corners of the trailer. Some smaller trailers only come with two jacks at the rear corners.

You might possibly be thinking of "chocks" which are used to keep the trailer from rolling back and forth. They should be used on both sides of the trailer. Some you put on the ground in front of and behind the tires. Others you fit in between the two tires on each side and expand out to hold each tire from moving. This is the kind that generally gives the best results.

  • X2. Bought a lot of stuff from there store. My dad lived just a bit from this rv store an turned me on to them. Hard to beat their pricing. And fast shipping. Referring to Mantelli
  • Got my latest pair from Mantelli on their Ebay Store but the price is the same from them no matter how you buy them.

Fantastic service also. I think it was around $79 for 2 of the 7,500 lb ones and the swivel crank.
