Basic TV set-up please
Hello, I have an older Sportsmen TC(1997). It had an Antenna Tec
roof antenna. I replaced it with a new Wanguard Sensar that fit the mast just like the one that was on there. Now, I took the booster plate in the wall out and there are is no coax cables run to the wall plate booster. Why did they do that?
So,here is how I proceeded from there. I put the new booster plate that came with the new Sensar antenna in the wall, I ran coax from the new roof antenna to the booster, from the booster to the tv. I get no signal reception, just one station really fuzzy. I should get quite a few stations out of Madison(60 miles away). The tv is an LED tv, some off brand, "Fiore", maybe ten years old. The guy I got the camper from only watched DVD's on it in the camper. Now I know why, because there was no cables run from the wall plate from the factory. Do I have to put a digital box between the antenna and the tv? I should get plenty of channels from where the camper is sitting. Any suggestions?
