SO confused... I cant post the full reply.. get an error... but if i separate it..
Make sure to check the voltages needed for charging and maintaining and find a converter/charger that can be approx close to those numbers.
Buy a digital thermostat and replace the dial type you likely have. These are more temp accurate and the furnace will not run as long. As mentioned above, a good down blanket and setting the T stat to 55ish will save a lot of LP and battery juice.
If you are running the Genny for just battery charge, buy a stand alone charger, and use that instead of the campers converter.
Change your lights to LED, the standard RV bulbs use about .3 amps each, LED is about 0.03 each.
Lastly, have you thought of adding Solar? With my rig, we never need to run a genny (unless we need AC).
