- MC9ExplorerThanks everyone for the comebacks. It apparently is not as simple as it would seem. (and I'm a master plumber)

Has anyone installed a higher capacity water pump ? Like about a 6.5 gpm. Did it help?
Most of the new models have the in build pump and i guess what your are trhing might help woith water capacity the force fo the water wont be affected. The soze of the tank wont matter but this pump can give the wtaer that can do the job no too fast or too slow. - TakingThe5thExplorer

This is a 2013 model so everything works as good as most. But, the faucets, showers and such aren't exactly power washers, like the S&B. Just looking to beef it up some.
X2 on my 2013. I installed an Oxygenics shower head and that helped the shower situation quite a bit. I also camped with a full hookup to make sure I didn't have a kinked line somewhere and did find some construction debris in the faucet screens which I removed. It's quite acceptable now. - ScottGNomadYes, higher flow will give you more pressure because you are trying to force more water through the same size pipes. Also, the pumps that have more volume often times also have higher pressure ratings.
I went to a Shurflow Smart Sensor 5.7 GPH pump many years ago because of the poor flow of the little 2.X pump the TT came with. I have flow just like at home with this pump but so many people had problems with this model that I wont recommend it - though it has been trouble free for ten years for me. I would go with the Smart Sensor 4.0 GPH pump. You'll be happy with its performance. - Dutch_12078Explorer II

Higher flow won't give you more pressure, just more volume. Your fixtures are limited to 2.2GPM at 60PSI by the EPA, so unless you open several faucets at once, a higher flow pump won't make any difference. Depending on the pump model you have, you may be able to boost the pressure a bit using the adjustable pressure switch on the pump. Otherwise, you'll need a higher pressure pump. - dbblsExplorerRemember the more gpm the quicker the water tank is empty and holding tanks fill up.

- Mandalay_ParrExplorerHelp with what?
Is your flow low? Does your pump cycle improperly? Are your screens and filters clear?
