Class A, dull hood paint, what to do??
My hood is mostly black and very dull. I have had it buffed out a couple times so it was mirror like. But after several days to a few weeks it starts going very dull again. None of the other colors ...

I had the same problem on my F-350. I ignored it until it was bad enough to have to be sanded, primed and repainted. You "might" get away with a clear coat but I wouldn't use any spray can paint. I have found quality in a spray can is good for a couple years at best. . IMO..
