Pins 3 and 4 on the trailer harness get jumped. Stick a 5 amp blade fuse in there..
I actually made a plug for my camper. I used a female plug like whats on the tow veicle and jumped 3 and 4 with a fuse holder and 5 amp fuse.
I like the look at the campground and the kids could find the camper at night. I dont have to mess with party lights.
Also If I had to leave the trailer on the side of the road at night in case of break down/flat tire I can light the trailer up. ( Your not typically gonna leave your trailer but its possible you may need to get air for the spare tire if you did not maintain it)
