I agree with your thinking 12thgenusa. With this mod we can extend our stay by several days without visiting the dump station or taking on more fresh water.
I too am concerned with grey water entering the freshwater system and I did mention a check valve. I would also use a three-way valve to switch the commodes water source between grey and fresh, and this valve would not be physically able to pass water from grey to fresh. The third precaution would be to use a lower pressure pump for the grey water, a pump that would not have enough pressure to overcome the higher pressure fresh water pump. And the forth precaution would be to keep the electrical switch which controls the grey water pump close to the three way valve, and supply clear signage to show how to handle the valve and switch.
