LED bulb for FW stop light
What kind of LED bulb you use to replace the incandescent bulb(12v).I see a lot of them on the internet but I don't know how bright they are.Somebody can come with an answer.

About 10 years or so ago I got stop light bulbs that when you stepped on the brake they flashed slow and then faster until full power. It was a plug in (had a board with them). I never again have found them. When I sold the rig I took them out and gave to a friend and he used them for years with no trouble. The best stop lights that I have ever seen. Must of had a least twice the output of a normal bulb.
I know this is not the answer to your question but just a area to look into and maybe you can find them and if so please share the info.

- There was an article in a Trailer Life that pointed out the issue with just replacing the bulb. The lense that is designed for incandescent bulbs kind of lack when the bulb is replaced with LED bulbs. You might want to consider replacing the entire light fixtures.

Flaguy - Usually you will see a lumen output listed. A 75W incandescent is about 1100 lumens IIRC.
