- tenbearExplorerThe 5050 led, 5mm x 5mm, is actually 3 LEDs in the same package. IMHO, it is about twice as bright as the 1210, also called 3528, 3.5 x 2.8mm, in metric, and draws a little less than twice the current.
There have been a lot of opinions about how many 1210s or 5050s are as bright as a 921 incandescent, or other kinds of bulbs. My opinion is that 36-1210 panels are as bright. The cobs don't look quite as bright due to the more diffused light.

I'm not aware of any RFI generated.
And their color temperature is warm-white which we find pleasing in the evening. These panels are held into the light fixture via double-sided tape. The only problem I've had is that one of the light panels seems to have trouble staying stuck to the smooth plastic light fixture...I've had to re-stick it after each winter.
Those panels do not have voltage regulators, so they won't generate any RFI.
You can increase the adherence by sanding the plastic fixture with 240 grit sandpaper. - tenbearExplorerAlfred622, I use many of the same panels. I have had good success keeping the panels stuck in place by gently roughing the fixture contact area with fine sandpaper. Even panels that had previously fallen off have stayed in place with the old tape. I have removed a couple of the panels and found they were stuck very well.
- Alfred622ExplorerThanks for the tip about roughing the surface. I thought about that but haven't tried it. Sounds like an easy enough fix and those LEDs are going to last a long time so... why not!

These are the ones I used from Amazon, seem to be just as bright.
led clicky
I used those panels but with a 921 base. Actually they come with three bases in each package. They were $3.29 each back then but I just ordered 10 more for $17.99 for a project I'm doing. I ordered them with free shipping on March 19th and they got here the 4th. - 71stang99ExplorerAnyone know where to get the smaller and larger flush mount 'puck' lights? I would like to replace my currently high used ones with high quality LED lights. Thanks

Jim, are these the ones you ordered?
The clicky above takes me to what appears to be a 15-1210 cob with a 921 base. :h - manandwmanExplorerI bought some of these last year and put them a couple of fixtures we use a lot to how they would do. They felt really warm for leds when I connected and turned them on. Checked them a couple of days later and the double side sticky pad had melted. So I tossed all of them and went back to 921s.
I would a little leary of anything from China, ie sheet rock, toys ect.
