LED Strip Light addition -- battery power?

removed my bulb from my porch light. Put this in it's place and wired up the 12 V lights to it. The remote module and everything fit right into the light fixture no problem. Just had to grind a small groove in the bottom to let the IR remote receiver stick out slightly.
