Buy this controller or you will be sorry!!!! The cheap controller will last a few days to a month or so and then start crapping out.
I have bought several of these ClickyThis setup is cheaper and comes with 300 leds compared to your 150.
They come with the cheaper controller and the same remote. You can use the remote, as a spare, but buy the other controller and remote. You can hook them up to the battery, or do what I did and hook them up to the cargo light in the nearest compartment, or to the switched outdoor light. ( I have led floods Clicky
attached to the switched light and then use a remote control unit Clicky)
to turn them on/off by the remote, or I can turn them on/off by the security lights switch on my control panel. It comes in handy to have the remote, because I can turn the floods on from the truck before I park at a remote spot at night or I can turn them on from my chair around the fire if someone needs extra light to see where they are going etc...
You won't have to fuse the lights if you use an existing 12v circuit, and all you need is 18/2 wire to use as your extension cable.
Make sure you switch the circuit if your plug is exposed. If not you will have a good chance of blowing the fuse if it is exposed to a heavy rain or when washing the RV.
