- Darryl_RitaExplorerGuessing it's these. Not really a fan of having to store wet or muddy steps inside, but it might be just me.
- Second_ChanceExplorer IIThose are much-talked-about over on the Grand Design site. For us, we often park with semis at rest stops or truck stops and can't afford the clearance issues of swinging those out or leaving them out as trucks pull in and out next to us.
Rob - goducks10ExplorerThose are on my list of wants. Need to verify my door size. Can't stand the squeaky spongy metal steps. We don't do rest stops or truck stops and we don't camp in the mud. We have a rug that we clamp to the steps to keep them and clean it helps keep the dust and dirt out of the 5er.
- tomthymeExplorerFrom what I can see, I don't think it would be hand to fashion a way to pull the steps in or let them out from the inside, if anyone was interested in doing that. We also use a scruffy welcome mat at the bottom of out stairs to take care of debris. To each his/her own.
Just wanted you guys to know that they are a go9d product, easy to install and we are happy with them.
All the best folks! - HammerboyExplorerI seen quite a few of these at the camper show this past winter at the rv show. They are awesome when they are deployed but that's about it for me. In my rv garage I would have clearance issues not to mention I feel I would have to clean thoroughly before storing. Definitely some trade offs made for an awesome set of steps.

The issue I have with them is they store inside the RV.
If they are wet or dirty they will need to be cleaned off. Debris, pollen, leaves and stuff will just fall on open steps.
At some point step will be pulled in and all that stuff will come with it. The steps are like a big scoop that dumps stuff inside.
Honestly it may not be as bad as I'm making it, but you will have to make some effort to clean or dry steps before bring them in.
The stability part I like. The storing steps inside part I do not like. - DurbExplorerWhy wouldn't owners of these step just clean them off before stowing them? I sweep mine off before folding them in and they ride outside.
- Cummins12V98Explorer IIIPersonally I am very happy with this configuration. MORryde makes quality products but this has too many negatives.

I don't clean mine off. No need to anything that on them simply flips off when I fold them up. Because they are outside they do not bring debris inside.
If it is raining there is more of an issue. Step will be wet and need to be dried off. Otherwise the water will be carried into the trailer with the steps.
Do you store anything just inside the door? A cooler, or something that comes out upon arrival? The flip up steps will block the doorway and prohibit you from using the last minute storage space.
The steps are very stable but I don't think they are very well thought out in terms of function. I prefer the steps to remain outside at all times. Bringing them inside is deal breaker.
