power box

Question

Several years ago someone had posted drawing and a little project box for 30A twist lock generator plug to 50A RV plug with metering and on/off switch so you didnt have to start the generator under load. I have made several searches but unable to find what I want, any help.

I can't help you with your search, but the way I keep from starting my generator under load is to not plug the trailer into the generator until the generator is already running. Alternatively, turn off the main breaker in the RV breaker panel until the generator is running.

Just wanted to build one for my 50A trailer
