Replacing Awning Fabric that has Alumiguard Cover - DIY

Our 16 year old awning is in need of being replaced and we have decided to take the route to do it our self. After watching about 20 you tube videos, this doesn't seem like it will be a difficult task...

I replaced my old beat up vinyl with the acrylic with alumiguard and couldn't be happier. If you are having trouble rolling up this type awning, make sure you are rolling it up from the center of the awning tube. Otherwise it will roll up crooked.

I was on my second vinyl awning and, just as the first one, started to delaminate. That's when I switched to acrylic.
