Has anyone heard of someone putting aluminum back on instead of rubber, not planning on doing it just a thought my roof is 16 years old so gotta be around the corner.
I glad you have had good luck with your rubber roof. Mine failed after 5 years with several areas starting to leak through the roof membrane. The areas of failure were under the condensation drips by both a/c's.
Since this I have lost all faith in rubber roofs not to mention all of the caulking required to be checked/scraped off/replaced, etc.
I replaced my roof two weeks ago with This One. It was no more expensive than a new rubber roof and now I sleep much better.
looks good.
