It is raining out and I am a bit bored. So I Googled aluminum sheeting for RV roof. Got lots of hits and some interesting info.
My 94 Toyota RV has a one piece aluminum roof that was kept under cover, so is in great shape. Seals for vents and such still have to be maintained.
I do not see any reason to not do it, with one minor challenge. The sides of the roof would have to lap over the siding. I would not want the bent edge to be square I would want a radius or rounded. Maybe not an issue? I'm sure a sheet metal guy could do it with no problem.
