Raspberry Pi is the rage in single board computers right now but IMO the Beaglebone series of single board computers is a little more user friendly along with being full open source unlike the Raspbery Pi and the Arduino based products.
yes, we are just starting to see system implementation in the RV world of a canbus system - it is called RV-C and has its unique standards with potential to use multiple canbus library's for custom implementations of all types.
