Safe low VOC Carpet....look for this!

Just found that my favorite carpet sample also happens to be "Green Label Plus" certified. Really relieved. My immune system crashed when I was five when my parents built their first home. I started going anaphylactic every few months, became allergic to nearly everything alive...every parakeet we bought died...

"Every carpet receiving Green Label Plus certification has been tested for emission levels for all chemicals as required by Section 01350, plus six additional chemicals, utilizing a 14-day test. The 13 chemicals measured are:

Acetaldehyde, Benzene, Caprolactam, 2-Ethylhexanoic Acid, Formaldehyde,1-Methyl-2-Pyrrolidinone, Naphthalene, Nonanal, Octanal, 4-Phenylcyclohexene, Styrene, Toluene, and Vinyl Acetate."

RV's are such confined spaces. Protect yourself people. Look for that when replacing carpet. I didn't know the name to look for until I stumbled across it. That new house sent me down a path where I struggled with health problems for decades.

Also getting a hypo-allergenic pad from Home Depot.
