- htownersExplorerI had to order parts for my slide actuator, and this only added $1.50 to my shipping, so I'm in for 1.
I have the plexi slide and have had to reattach the rubber knob twice already, so hopefully this is what it seems. - jryotasExplorerWell, after looking at it a little further , I have determined to go ahead and retro fit it to our door . After buying some 1/8 thin plexi , I will more than likely be building the worlds most expensive door slide with built in opened . Will post pics after completion .
- BurbManExplorer IIHave had the Camco opener for years and it works great!
- CampnFiremanExplorerI love the idea of this and even at $15 I'd still pay it but $18.45 to ship it!?
- jryotasExplorerWell , it was a neat idea but would not work on our door . Both mine and my buddy's TT have Dexter doors and the opening on those is quite a bit larger and the release for the door is more at the bottom of where the slide would fit into the groove therefore the button would not be allowed to be pressed down far enough even if it would fit the frame . Guess this is just the difference between Lipert and Dexter doors . Guess I will be returning this and trying the $5 camco opener .
- wittmebaExplorerI got tired of having to open the little hatch to access the screen door so I tried this. It had a single ball/knob on the inside.
It did work but needed some tweaking and I gave up before it was finished. I thought people would laugh at me for this attempt. Maybe it wasnt such a bad idea after all. - deleted-2ExplorerOur 2012 model fiver has the clear slider too.
Works better I guess after getting used to it.
Ours was warped a little and kept jamming in the door track.
A minor modification solved that. - jbeeExplorerThis is on our TH and is pretty handy keeping the bugs out :)
- goducks10ExplorerThat came on our Northwood Fox Mountain. Previous TT had the reg type lever. Still getting used to the newer style. Do like it better though.
- downtheroadExplorerThanks for the link...Decent price @ about $15 but, good grief, they are asking $17 to ship it to WA State.
