Sink Replacement
Has any one replaced their plastic kitchen sink with a steel one? I have the one with a sink and a smaller one just to the right and it is basically useless. The wife would like to have one larger one...

Is the length issue from the sink hole in the counter top?
If you have extra room for the sink, you can cut the solid surface counter top to a larger opening.
Another option is to contact a Corian installer, they may be able to build you a new sink to mount underneath the current opening or even repair your existing sink. Solid surface counter tops and sinks are simply glued together (although it takes glue designed for the material).
