I ended the see thru bedroom window problem by buying a tension shower rod.
The rod fits perfectly and snug 'under' the cardboard RV valance out of sight.
Then I purchased a set of light blocking curtains. Problem solved without drilling or velcro'ing.
During the day you just push the curtains to the side. They do not interfere with the day/night shades either.
