Water outlets under rear of Rockwood 8293

What are the water outlets underneath the right rear of my Rockwood Camper. I always drain them to keep them from freezing but am wondering why there is 2 capped water outlets together at one place.
They always have water in them when drained. Thanks in advance for info.

  • Above posts are correct...but, just opening them and draining them will not fully winterize your rig and keep you from having freeze damage.
  • Low point drains (one for cold water plumbing system and one for the hot side). They are the lowest point in the plumbing system and intended to allow emptying all plumbing lines to HELP in winterizing your RV. They are located at different places on different models of trailer and some are not capped but operate from valves located above the floor.
