- BarneySExplorer IIII am not positive if I powered it down or not. Probably did as I, and a buddy who is an electronic Master Chief in the Navy, worked on it for a day or two. I ran a cable directly from the cable box, into the trailer, and then to the TV and it worked fine. Then, when trying it from the Sensar Pro device, with the cable button pushed, to the TV it did not work. After thinking back now, I am sure we tried turning the device off and on. Ended up just disconnecting the cable and using the antenna with the Sensar Pro device.
Barney - SCClockDrExplorerThe Sensar Pro is a great product. I have wired campground cable through as well as bypassed with no ill affects. At the time I was injecting 12VDC to a router via the antenna head and did notice OTA bleedover, which was due to my method of injection. The amp powers down in the cable mode as I recall so the OTA head goes dead to reduce interference. A very close local channel may cause some interference though because the separate feeds are not isolated.
That was & is my experience. - Fish-a-PaloozaExplorer

I did and like it very much. It makes aiming the antenna a breeze and seems to work very well bringing in stations from quite a distance away. It does not play well, however, with our cable service at our winter location in Florida. The cable channels come in weak and broken up on many channels. We just use the antenna there now as most of the broadcast stations in the Tampa area are HD and the cable system at the campground is not.

I had the same problem. Have you switched it over to cable or better yet powered it down while on cable? - notruffinitExplorerMy 5er came with the SensarPro. Once I figured out how to use, it is a snap and I get good reception.
- Dutch_12078Explorer IIX2 on the SensarPro. It works well and makes antenna aiming really easy. The extra gain is often enough to bring in channels you would never see otherwise.
