2002 Holiday Rambler Presidential 30scd

Hello All,

Anyone know the hitch pin load for an unloaded trailer that has been weighed? I have seen a 2003 brochure but the 2 online ads I've seen for 30scd's, that gave trailer weights, were 1,000 lb heavier than the brochure. That leaves me wondering how much heavier the pin load will be than the brochure.

Thanks,
Robert

What are you looking at towing it with, and what are the pin weights you are looking at.
  • Rhagfo, Just looking for info. I understand GCWR, GVWR and all that so don't need help working with the numbers, but thanks for the offer.

  • Why do you want weights of an unloaded trailer? All you can do is estimate what it will actually be. and that depends on a number of variables. Also, getting snotty with someone trying to help will not get you any help.

  • Hello Jim,

I don't understand how my response to Rhagfo was being snotty. I appreciate his responding. He didn't know whether I was a complete newbie or had many years towing experience. I just wanted him to know I understood the terms. The last thing I wrote was .....thanks for the offer. How would you have written my response? Not trying to be snotty here. Just trying to understand your post.

    Thanks,
    Robert

Robert, my thought was the "I understand....don't need help" part. Maybe its old age, but sounded to me like, look dummy, I know what I'm doing, along with the thanks comment being sarcastic. If, not, I apologize.

  • Jim, Thanks for your response. I never intended to be snotty. Maybe I need to think through my posts before I hit the send button.

    Thanks,
    Robert
  • Don't sweat it, we all make comments that when we later read them again, "why did I say that, that way"
