We have 2003 Keystone Challenger 5th wheel. I think the answer to your question may be impacted mostly by the care that was given to the trailer you are looking at. We were fortunate to find one that was very well cared for and probably not used but a couple of times at that. If has been rode hard and put up wet then it may be a source of many issues.
So far we've had no issues with function or structure with the exception of having to repair a few frayed running light wires.
