5th Wheel Leveling

Thank you for the link and the info. It does sound like a good alignment bonus but I had forgotten that we don't have axles. We have IS suspension so this won't work for us.
Our brand new 2014 2 wheel drive Ram sits as high as a 4 wheel drive giving us only 5" of clearance at the bed of the truck which is not enough. Dutch is investigating the different bolt patterns on our Mor/Ryde IS which would allow us to raise it, but according to Mor/Ryde gain only 1". He is also investigating another way to gain more clearance by using steel tubing between the chassis and the IS. That should give us 2inches or more of clearance. This would be very extensive and expensive work.
Has anyone out there done anything other than these 2 options? If so, what did you do? We have a triple axle Carriage
We had to leave Montana to beat the snow & cold so until we can get this taken care of, we are making sure we are on as level ground as possible when we make a turn.
Any suggestions will be appreciated. Di

Put a lowering kit on your truck, don't screw up the center of gravity on your trailer and not have adequate steps by flipping your axles.

The 'Correct Track' system allows for alignment of axles.
Due to it's installation (weld on bracket or bolt on) the spring eyes are mounted in the alignment bracket which is connected to the OEM spring shackle. That mounting results in a 2-3" height increase of RV.
The Kit is intended for alignment....extra height just comes with the design of install.

Depending on the height of your rig - keep in mind your overall height when making adjustments.

Correct Tract will raise the trailer about 2 or 3 inches with the added advantage of aligning the axles if necessary.

Lower hitch.....
Raise pinbox....
Adjust springs in shackles......
Flip axles.......
Cut off shackles. Weld square tubes on to frame. Weld shackles back on.

That's about it for choices to adjust 5vr height

THAT is why it is best to match hitch and trailer instead of getting it from truck manufacturer.

What brand of trailer? Some manufacturers put a series of holes in the spring hangers. And by moving the springs down to the bottom hole you can raise the trailer a bit.
