I do not see how having a phone in the truck will tell you when the trailer is level. My truck is always on a different slope than the trailer. If my truck is level then the trailer will not be.
When I bought the 5er I set it up using a 5 ft framers level in the center of the floor. Then I attached a large bubble level to the front so I can see it in the rear view mirror for side to side level. Next I attached a bubble level at eye ball height next to my landing gear switch to use for front to back level.
This has worked for me for 14 years. The slide goes in and out, the eggs are level in the pan, the doors do not swing open by-themselves and my bed is not tilted.
