Don't think you'll get LT's in anything less than 16"ers. Had the belts go on 2 of my China bombs over past couple of years. Like the OP, caught one before leaving home and the other 3/4 of way to CG/destination. This year we bought 3 new tires (new one last summer and the new one from 2 years ago is now the spare.
