I could go on for ever with LesSchwab stories, seriously. This is one of my favorites. Friends of ours had a 02 F350 SRW SB and they bought a BIG toy hauler. They were very proud and came by to show us their rig. I noticed different tires and wheels on the TV. They were Wild Country load range "D" tires and were a wider and taller tire than the Michelins that came with the truck. I told him they put the wrong tires on and he said they told him the tires had more "carrying capacity" than the Michelins. I told him that did not matter as they would have a very soft sidewall. He got mad at me and said you just don't like LS. They left and drove from NW WA to SoCal spent the winter and drove back to LS and told them to get the POS tires off there and replace them with a new set as he was going to use the Michelins when towing. They were not happy but they did as he wished. He then proceeded to come to apologize to me and said that the ride was horrible with it being very bouncing and that the tires were nearly bald by the time they made it back home with less than 10K on the tires. He understood at that point that their safety was my real concern with the tires.
