Thanks everyone.Might just have to go yhat route.I only switched to a 5er hitch cause I couldnt see to hookup with the gooseneck adapter on 5er after getting new truck,they are just too tall to see the ball.Forgot I had never used the Reese on the 03.I believe the GM 07 1/2 up beds are 21 tall and the older beds were 19.
