- toedtoesExplorer IIIReplace them with battery operated puck lights. :)
- tlukasavige172ExplorerTried that with no luck. Maybe I need to try rubber gloves like mentioned before.
- Johno02ExplorerPush in and turn.
- tlukasavige172ExplorerOkay it came out. The trick was to pull from only one side with the spring and not both equally. However, I can't imagine doing this with all 25 lights as it's a bit of a process. I did find though once it was out that the center popped out. If I can find something to stick between the two housings that wouldn't scratch, it would be a pretty easy process to get them all out. It's a very small crack though that's between the housing and the light.
Now I'll have to figure out how to get to the bulb because it's not quite as straight forward as I thought it'd be (since this whole project has been really straight forward). - You should pull a little hard to get the spring tensions mast the center point. it should come down about two inches, then squeeze the springs together to remove from the bracket. they are similar to can lights in a house.
If you can get your fingers to squeeze the wires together it will take less effort to pull down - tlukasavige172ExplorerI was able to pull the light down from the ceiling about 3/4''. I can see a sticker on it and it's an ITC light. However, it gets very difficult to pull past that point and it's a false ceiling and I feel like I could pull the dang ceiling right out. I may call ITC tomorrow and ask if there's a trick to pulling them out.

I feel kinda dumb asking this question but I was looking at my lights in the ceiling as I want to change them over to LED. However, I can't figure out how to get the cover off the light... The light is about 2'' in diameter and I don't see anything obvious as to how it comes out. Any help is appreciated.
With Heartland lights on my 5th wheel, I put on a rubber clove and push the light fixture and then turn. Without the rubber glove it is difficult to maintain a solid grip as you turn the light fixture. - tlukasavige172ExplorerSo they definitely don't unscrew from a bracket, as I just tried that.
enblethen, I think that's exactly what I have. It says it's a spring clip. Do you think the entire light just pulls straight down and out of the ceiling? - Pangaea_RonExplorerIt looks like you probably push it up and twist it to remove it. Probably counterclockwise, but it's now windy and rainy, the Seahawks just won, and I'm hoping that the Pats now win. it's a bit of a walk to the MH. Perhaps later.
- I think this is what you have. It maybe a halogen lamp version.
ITC lights
Look in download section. They both come out the same way. Pull down from recessed bracket
Halogen version
