When I bought my first 5th in 2006 (other RVs before that),
I researched hitches for my 1T short-bed in advance.
Decided on PR SG.
It has done everything it's supposed to do - no complaints.
Maybe there are better choices/options (or "opinions" that there are) - but no reason to try something else -or- fix something that isn't "broken".
When it comes to "equipment" and/or vehicles, *NO* brand loyalty here.
*If* I had a hitch I was unhappy with, I wouldn't hesitate to start the process over - and sell the current one on Craigs List or?..;)
