Awning Protection
I have been pondering ways to extend the life of my awning. The slit plastic pipe sleeve is the frontrunner right now but it's pricy and needs to be left at home when we travel.
I was wondering if some awning repair tape might do a good job protecting the exposed portion of a stowed awning. My awning is a couple of years old and in excellent shape but I'm looking for a way to combat the UV rays and weather elements. I've seen tape as wide as 6 inches. I've also heard people say they use duct tape. Any comments?
