- humblerbExplorerI just had axles replaced at Elite RV in Atascocita.
They are great people and seem to be very knowledgeable.
I do not know if they do alignments or not, but might be worth a call. - NjmurvinExplorer

I would never do that myself. There is no guaranty the new one will be straight or properly installed. A proper alignment will cost under $200.00 and will include aligning both axles and adjusting, toe, camber and tracking.
Check on the price of a replacement axle. It may be a reasonable alternative.

Not for me in SoCal. I had to pay $350. But I could only find one place that would do it. I guess they could have charged whatever they wanted. - TxGearheadExplorer IIHeitman Truck Repair. They re-arched springs for me at least 30 years ago when they were downtown.
Looks like they are now S Nelson services and on McCarty Drive at I-10.

There used to be a place in Pasadena but I'm not sure they are still around
May be thinking Axle & Wheel Aligning Co. Hwy 225 at Richey St. That would be my first choice. Been there forever. Call and see if they do travel trailers.
https://www.axleandwheel.com/ - DougEExplorerMy misunderstanding. I thought if he needed alignment he must have damaged the axle. It's easy enough to pull a string or use a straight 2x4 to see if the tires are decently aligned. Heck, motorcycle racers will grab an eight foot fluorescent bulb out of an overhead fixture to check their tires alignment. Checking center to center distance is no big deal either.

Even with new axle it will have to be aligned.
Do you think they are aligned from the factory?
I think you will find that they are bolted in and sent down the line.
And how to they set the distance between the tires? Is bolting the axle to the spring pack "close enough." Not just a matter of caster and camber. There is often a locating pin on the axle and a hole in the spring pack to do a rough set but I have seen several without those locating pins. I had one axle that shifted and one side was 1 1/2" closer to the tire than the other. - TxGearheadExplorer II
