OP I think you need to look at the truck specs again. It'a all in the details!
"IF" that 5er is a triple axle and it has 15% pin weight I suppose it could handle it with it's 3,300# pin weight. How does that with a HEAVY Pullrite hitch and other items compare to your RAWR???
I am assuming this RV is a double axle and the REALISTIC pin will be 4,200# at 25%. Also just because it says 16,800# it sure doest stop gaining weight! My DRV has 21k GVWR and it actually weighs 24k with a 6k pin.
Unfortunately people all the time get SUCKED INTO these so called "RATINGS".
Either start looking at DRW trucks (RAM makes a SRW Dually) or start looking for a lighter say 14k GVWR RV.
