Between the tires chocks?

We used the roto's on our first 5er...very pleased with them....however our current trailer has the 6 pt leveling system....invariably when the system levels the trailer...it removes most of the weight off the axle springs and the roto chock falls off...thats ok until your retract the jacks and as the weight settles back down there's nothing to keep the traler from rolling away...we've since gone back to the conventional chocks..

Rotochocks for sure. Used them since last Dec. moving frequently until Mar. The trailer does not move at all. First on, last off.

I have to agree here. I was sceptical of them at first and even looked at the X chocks, but my tires are only an inch apart so they wouldnt fit. I bought the Rotochocks and now havent looked back. We have been out 5 times so far this year with them and they just plain work.

This is one of the only topics I have a very strong opinion about. IMO it's Roto Chocks and everything else. I would not trade my Roto Chocks for any brand out there, nothing else is even close.

Ditto on that ditto, one drawback is I changed RVs to a different tire size and spacing and had to buy new wedges but I was able to use the old strap and center piece

I watched the X-Chock video in the link above. Their instructions say to un-hook the trailer from the tow vehicle BEFORE installing the chock and to remove the chock BEFORE hooking up to the tow vehicle...

Am I hearing this wrong? What holds the trailer from rolling away if parked on a slope?

My hard and fast procedure is chocks in first and chocks out last.

X2. I used the scissor type chocks on my fifth wheel, they went on before I unhitched, never a problem with movement while leveling and unhitching. Only movement I ever saw was after hitching and removing the chocks, the trailer wheels rolled forward maybe 1".

sure it's not because you're putting the stabilizers down and taking the weight off the suspension? I always put mine in then after my rear jacks are down I go back and tighten them back up.....usually takes ~ 2" out of them. Also have to loosen them before raising the jacks or they're a bear to get out.

I have the BAL Chocks, work great, but I also use the plastic chocks first.

Tip, if the tires are really hot when you put them on, come back and tighten them.
