Blue Beacon

Those of you that's used Blue Beacon to wash you 5th wheel: do you add any of the Protectants. Also how well do you like using them?

Thanks,
  • I have use them several time while on the road.I keep several good layer of rejax on my M H so no protactant is need. But I do ask what kind of soap they use and cut down the pressure on power washer.I will not use as much hoping to get the waterless wash for Xmas.
  • I have used Blue Beacon a few times with no problems. I get just the standard wash with no add-ons.
  • I used Blue Beacon on a regular basis both on the road and at home.
When traveling I refer to their location listing and try to combine a stop with a wash if the 5th wheel needs a shine.
I sometimes splurge and add on the RainX.
Price is right, service is like any other car wash subject to the line up and being stuck behind a picky customer.
I like the overhead roof wash something I would not do on my own.
Company and staff are RV friendly and I have never had any issues with other trucker complaints (many are RV'ers themselves)
    Happy trails to you ....

  • My son worked for them. HE said they washed 1-2 RV's a day.
They even washed the owner of Ron Jon's surf shop RV early summer this year. I have a picture of it somewhere. Pretty cool RV.
He said he liked the RainX added on made the RV's look a little better and gave it protectant type covering.

  • Think they are great! about 55 bucks for TV and trailer. Thats w/ the Rain-X
  • I always get the low pressure, no chemicals with the Rain-X rinse. The truck and trailer gleam!
