On the road and the coach is a mess. How is there service and do you normally leave a tip? I'd like to have the coach washed once we're in FL. Thanks for any I input. Everyone one have a Happy Thanksgiving.

I have used the one in salina,Kansas.Got the road grime off mh and toad. Tipped the main guy and asked him to be sure to not use acid solution or whatever they use on otr trucks.I was satisfied with end results dave

Everyone that I have read about was really happy with them, they hand wash the Coach and have read where they do the toad also, I have never used them as of yet but someday I will need to find a location here: http://www.bluebeacon.com/

I use the one in Ft Pierce every time we are on our way to The Keys. We usually leave The White Mtns, when they are White and it isn't warm enough to wash till we are well into FL. By the time we get there everything is coated in road salt and road grime on top of that. When we drive out of the BB, the truck and 5er look as good as new! Well worth the stop!

I have been happy with the washes from various Blue beacons. Often I get an afterspray treatment for a few bucks more, cant remember what its called and it helps with bug removal.I leave a tip with the main guy, just as I do in a regular car wash operation.

As long as we're on the subject, has anyone used the Harbor Creek Blue Beacon in Erie, PA? I almost tried them this past summer, but have yet to.

I built the Blue Beacon in Dade City Fl. Great family owned organization. The manager there is Aaron. They are very committed to quality and good service. The amount of water treatment equipment that goes into one of their facilities to control water spotting is amazing. They manufacture all of their own soaps and most chemicals. If you are not happy they will make it right.

I have used Blue Beacon several times and have been satisfied everytime. They have been friendly at every location I have been to. Some even commented that it was nice to do something besides an 18 wheeler for a change.

I have heard some comments by truck drivers themselves about doing an RV, but never directly at me, besides, I waited my time in line just like them.

I would like to thank eeveryone for their remarks . It's helped me to decide to stop at the one next to the Flying J in Dade City, FL before we go to ourr park. It"s sure not like me to not do my own washing but looking at our coach from the weather we drove thru it's a bit embarrassing to go into the park looking like that. Again THANKS and everyone enjoy the holiday Season and all the crazy shopping that needed to be done.

Your talking about a acid wash which some truck washes use on stainless steel and aluminum, but Blue Beacon does not use that on motorhomes. "Blue Beacon uses only warm, soapy water for all recreational vehicle washing."

They used it on mine and ruined my wax job. Coating on my aluminum roof is coming off now. Called them and they said they didn't use the acid wash. Never use them again!
