Brakes are NOT working

Is the controller indicator light on? Maybe a connection is loose. Did you check the brake fuse with a VOM?

I checked all fuses with a voltmeter and key on. All fuses had voltage on both sides of the fuse. The controller light is on.

Do the other lights work on the rv, tail turn signal, etc. ? If they don't check for a loose ground on both the truck and rv side.

All other lights/systems work as they should. Could the brake controller be bad?

I had the wire nuts come loose from the brakes to the 5th wheel wiring harness a couple of times. But it was only one wheel each time just offering as a possibility. Make sure the connections are good at each wheel.

It could be the controller. What brand and model?

Make sure someone is manually applying the brake controller when you test, otherwise voltage will be zero. If it still tests at zero, then it is the wire, the brake controller, or the brake controller power. If still zero, check the output from the brake controller when applying it manually. If it shows voltage, then it is the wire. If no voltage, then it is the brake controller, or its power supply.

I would check at the office of the park you are at. I bet they know of a reliable mobile RV tech that they call. Good luck.

OR, if you have Good Sam Road Side Service, you might call them and ask them to locate a mobil repair shop or if needed, limp your trailer into a RV repair shop.

I would also look for a loose/corroded connection in the tow vehicle receptacle.
