Although a good coat of wax never hurts, Your going to have bugs stuck to it. Last summer, I used dryer sheets for the first time and was amazed. Try it - maybe you will be too.

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser works good for getting bugs off.

I put Rejex on the nose a couple of times a year. I think it helps with removal. I also spray Bugs N All and let it set for a few minutes before washing. It does help with all but the most gutsy ones. I've been doing this for years and tried many things but still haven't found the perfect system. I always have to scrub some of them, especially the ones with the yellow guts.

A couple coat's of good ole Turtle Wax is all I used and hot water takes the bugs off, washed it twice last summer on a trip up the Dempster and Alaska.

I don't think anything stops bugs from sticking. Might be the angle of my front cap but speed seems to figure into the sticky equation. The faster they slam into the front cap the more likely they are to stick. Also a good wax helps. Many hundreds of miles & a month or so of using Meguires Flagship wax bugs mostly wash off with hose & brush.

I've used Pam cooking spray but it gets snotty when it is rained on. Also many years ago used Future floor wax. Didn't hurt anything.

I applied TopCoat F11 this winter. We will see how it works this next summer on the trailer. I like it on my car, bugs and dirt still get on the car but it is easier to clean off. You need to apply multiple coats and it is expensive.

hot water works sometimes to remove buhs. I've never seen so many bugs as I did in Kansas and other points in the midwest.

I've been using Rejex on the front and it makes the bugs slide right off.

I don't think so, Rain-X specifically warns to keep it off of painted surfaces. Great product though!
